2toGroove started when Margie Adams was asked to teach what she knew. From a couple classes back in 1997, that grew into 2toGroove Dance. With more than 20 years of dance training and experience as an instructor in swing, ballroom, club style partner dances, jazz, ballet, tap and folk dance, Margie brought great teaching and diagnostic skills to her students. Her goal has been to provide an exceptional learning environment. Come try it....the student experience speaks for itself.
Margie's experience as an instructor includes teaching at major international workshops in the US and Europe for 10 years, running the biggest annual cash prize dance contest in the the US, the $10K David Patrone Viejas Swing Event for three years. She has also managed numerous, local venues over the years including “The Rocket Swing Club”, "All Things Swing dance, Swing JAM Fridays and JAMnBLUES and the Jitterbug Club dances. Her special themed dance events have always drawn a crowd.

Margie has performed in and around San Diego for years. Events such as the Grand Opening of the Balboa Theater downtown, Midway Museum, Classics for Kids Concerts, Celebrate Dance Festival, Chula Vista and La Jolla outdoor concerts, and other public events.
2toGroove has also been a favorite among San Diego’s corporations and private functions for dance entertainment including Qualcomm, 1-800 Flowers, GreatCall Inc, the City of Carlsbad, 1st Pacific Bank, LaJolla Country Club, ElderHelp fundraisers and more. |
